Netflix streaming soon to be available for Macs

Netflix announced on their blog not to long ago that
And, for all of you Mac users...we’ve been busy working getting a solution that will allow you to watch instantly on your Mac. So hang in there - we’ll have something for you by the end of the year.
Has anyone else been waiting like forever for this feature? Thank you...finally; although we still have to wait a couple months...[frown]

Craigslist, a great place to (for the supervillains among us) recruit your next batch of henchmen

Oh, the wonders of Craigslist! I've heard stories from my mates about the hilarious "missed connections," but this, this is classic.

Through caverns measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea.

The "This American Life" episode, The Giant Pool of Money, has been making its rounds on the net (see the NY Times article from late September). A follow up to this show was done last week: 365: Another Frightening Show About the Economy.

Also, check out
NPR's blog Planet Money as it's a good source for up to date information regarding the financial crisis. You can even follow them on twitter.

The Bible Reborn?

Great news!
The oldest bible known is about to be digitized. BBC News reports that...
"For those who believe the Bible is the inerrant, unaltered word of God, there will be some very uncomfortable questions to answer. It shows there have been thousands of alterations to today's bible"
Uh-oh? Do you mean God has been misinterpreted all of these years?
Damn...

I Never Gnu!

Who gnu health bars could be so spectacularly delish? Gnu Foods' Orange Cranberry Bar is in the words of Sarah Silverman, "beyond". One tiny bar has HALF, yeah I said it, HALF of your daily recommended fiber. This chewy goodness is waiting for you at Trader Joe's. Do yourself (and your colon) a favor and pick some up.

It's Always Funny in Philidelphia

Hulu.com is a great place to watch TV shows and movies from NBC, FOX, and a lot of other networks and studios. I love this show though because of the cast. I dare you not to laugh through every minute of it.
